SEARCH EXAMPLES: When a Fortune 100 Health Care organization needed a Chief Diversity Officer, they chose to work with JB Scott Search. We focused on a select group of diversity leaders who had excellent reputations in the marketplace. Some of whom we knew from previous searches and others from referrals or introductions. Because of our years of experience and extensive networks, we were able to narrow our search down from over 100 qualified candidates down to three in the first two weeks of the search. Our client was impressed with the speed of our search. Our methods prove that you can be thorough and efficient without comprising quality.


A multi-billion dollar manufacturer called and asked if we had searched for a VP level, diverse Ombudsperson before. We responded, "No. But, has anyone?" After meeting with the hiring authority, we researched the Ombuds community and narrowed the search down to two talented candidates in less than 10 business days. Their new Ombudsperson was on board two months later.


An international Canadian Global 250 firm contacted JB Scott Search to help them find a Senior Director of Diversity for their largest business unit located in Minnesota. The search requirements were such that any candidate we uncovered needed to be currently or previously from the Twin Cities and needed to have held a similar position or second-in-command for a company of similar size. Not only did we uncover the candidate in less than 2 weeks, but less than a year after being hired, the candidate was promoted to Vice President.


An international industry leading Medical Technology firm engaged us to find a diverse Senior Product Marketing Specialist with experience in high-level technology. After meeting with the hiring authority, we began our search. Within the first week, we uncovered four candidates. What made this search interesting was the fact that one of the diverse candidates had his father's surname. His father was not diverse. However, using our specialized skills in determining ethnicity, we were able to uncover the fact that his mother was Hispanic. In addition, one of the candidates with a maiden surname typically associated with someone of Hispanic descent, was in fact, a majority candidate.
